Our Christian Values

As a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School, we have very close connections with Gee Cross Holy Trinity Church and our CannonHelen Scarisbrick. We have strong links with other churches in our local area, as well as Werneth Low Country Park, Hyde War Memorial Trust, local foodbank and charities.

Christian Values for Schools

Our Christian Values are at the centre of everything we do at Gee Cross Holy Trinity CE Primary School. They help us to live out our Christian Vision of ‘life in all its fullness.’ Each half term, we focus on a different Christian Value. This is done explicitly through our Collective Worship time, but also throughout our curriculum. Children have regular opportunities to reflect on each value and to develop an understanding of the Value in action. Each Friday, in our 'Let your light shine' Family Celebration Worship, we acknowledge children who have demonstrated these values.

Our visitors from Bible Encounter regularly lead our worship to help us to reinforce our understanding of each value as they share stories from the Bible in fun and interactive ways. At Gee Cross Holy Trinity children have opportunities to plan, prepare and lead worship for the whole school through class assemblies and Collective Worship in Church. Our Ethos Group plays an active role in leading worship and planning activities that can extend our Christian Values within school, our community and beyond.
