Collective Worship
The Summer term 2 Christian value we will be exploring looks at the global dimension of 'Hope.'
Christians see their hope in God’s promise ‘that love and goodness have, and will ultimately, overcome all evil’. This hope is manifested in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Through Collective Worship, we will be thinking about how, as a school:
- We help children to understand that there is a chance of a new beginning and a fresh start in every situation.
- We help children to understand how they can play their part in a more sustainable environment and a better society.
- We help children to understand how they are citizens of the world and that this citizenship brings challenges and responsibilities.
- We promote a vision of a hopeful future.
