School Catorgorisation 2023-2024 (Tameside Local Authority Letter)
The Tameside Primary School Performance and Standards Policy 2023-2024 sets out the Local Authority’s duty to support and challenge all of its schools in accordance with the Schools Causing Concern Guidance July 2023 and in preparation for the LA’s Annual Conversation with Ofsted.
In line with the Primary School Performance and Standards Policy issued with this letter, and in consultation with schools and Tameside Primary Consortium, please find below formal notification of your school’s LA categorisation.
Your school’s categorisation is category 1.
Your school has been identified as being category one. This indicates that the school is in a strong position across a range of data including the significant increase in GLD outcomes. We would like to thank staff for their continuing hard work for the children of Tameside and hope that as a school you will continue to share your practice and support through the wider system.
